My proudest moment to date was inviting my parents to my graduation when I was conferred with my Mechanical Engineering degree. At that time I was the first person in my family to go to university. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes or fail – these experiences can be valuable learning opportunities that help you grow and improve. Also, I believe that one should never stop learning, and to me continuous learning means confidence and competence to manage change in our life, while self-reflection and self-empowerment have been essential to my personal and professional growth.

I would encourage anyone to believe in themselves, take your challenges, keep going and if ‘old ways won’t open new doors’, don’t be afraid to knock on a new door to open it.

I also love challenges, both personally and professionally, and having to tackle them head on. I am eager to learn but feel frustration when I sometimes ‘don’t get it’. This year, Inspiring the Future Ireland (ITFI) is celebrating the incredible achievements of women who have made an impact in their respective fields.

ITFI is proud to have a diverse group of female volunteers who are passionate about inspiring the next generation. They come from a wide range of backgrounds and professions, from engineers to teachers, business leaders to CEO’s.
