I am the Managing Director / Head of Sales and Marketing within the Echo Newspaper. I am a daughter, sister, Friend, colleague, mother, aunty, wife and 2nd generation Managing Director of The Echo Newspaper – in that order!

Being a role model to my children and family

Every successful local business person who took a risk, my mother and ME!

I have always worked hard for everything I have. In school I did OK, I could have done better, and I didn’t make it to 3rd level education until I was 36yrs old! And so now as an adult I am always challenging myself, to learn more about what I do day to day and explore new opportunities and educate myself on other interests outside of day to day work. I love Art, Cooking and Exercise, all so different to my role in The Echo, and I go for a walk or run every morning and listen to books and podcasts, this really helps me focus and is a great way for clearing my head of life’s stresses.

My mistakes through life are what have made me the strong person I am today, don’t ever look back at the hard times, just move forward and learn from it.

You as the next generation of business owners, employees, teachers, Gym instructors, Beauticians, Carpenters, Scientists and everything in between, have the world at your fingertips (literally)! Use that mobile phone to learn, educate yourself on what you might like to do in life, for communicating in the right way. Your access to the world around you is amazing and you can become an amazing person with it.
